We have been carefully monitoring the outbreak of Covid-19 and at this time The Lending Channel office remains fully open. We remain committed to providing the service and support we promised to deliver and will make available regular updates so that you can keep in contact with our team.
In the event of office closures or any “lockdown” initiatives we will of course comply with Governmental instructions, however please rest assured we have already tested contingency plans to ensure we can continue to deliver the service our clients need. We have stress tested our IT systems for home working, coordinating work rotas and identifying colleagues more susceptible to the virus and those with extended family that could be vulnerable to the disease. We have already made provision for some of our employees to work safely from home. In addition to our own plans we are discussing with our lending partners their strategies for continued service. Many city centred offices have taken steps to move employees to work from home and they are already managing our expectations regarding the impact this could have on their own service levels.
Please continue to speak to your usual contact(s) and despite working from home, our staff will be working as hard as ever to meet the needs of our brokers and clients, just as they do when working from our offices. In the event that the situation changes we will provide further information on our media channels.
